Bass fishing is good. Both the southern part of the lake and Beaverdam Creek good areas. Some anglers are heading up the Savannah River. Bass are biting well starting at the Hartwell Dam all the way down to Rocky River. Picking apart the cover and fishing all the small cuts and bowls will be the key to finding the bass. Use a 1/4 ounce or 3/8 ounce spinnerbait, Rapala DT6 and Rapala DT10, #5 Jointed and RS Shad Raps and a Hot Steal colored X Rap. Use a variety of jigs and four inch plastic worms. Use a six inch worm and cut some off it four inches.
